PEFTEC 2015 in Antwerp – the organizer has set its sights high: To establish this new event as the leading conference in Europe in the field of measuring technology, monitoring and analysis of petroleum and petrochemical products.
Antwerp in Belgium was chosen as the location. The city is in one of the epicenters of the petroleum world. The decision was validated by the recent decision made by ExxonMobil to invest around one billion Euros in its refinery in the port of Antwerp.
More than 120 exhibitors responded to the call from the organizer, which has a 40-year tradition of publishing specialist magazines such as “Petro Industry News”. The exhibitors will present their measuring instruments, sensors and services to visitors. Anton Paar is there (at Booth 82) to present its unique density meter for high temperatures, DMA 4200 M, its flexible Stabinger Viscometer™ and its new CFPP tester, Callisto 100. There is not enough room on a single booth for the whole portfolio of Anton Paar‘s 140 Solutions for Petroleum Testing. Instead, Barbara Klug-Santner, Mieke De Ryck and Thomas Feischl are available for consultation at the exhibition.
A further point of attraction at the conference will be the around 100 free specialist seminars on different topics on and around measurement and laboratory practice. Barbara Klug-Santner and Thomas Feischl will represent Anton Paar and give insight into solutions for the following:
- Digestion of Petroleum Products and Lubricants in Less than 90 Minutes
- General Aspects of the Density Measurement with an Oscillating U-tube Density Meter under High Temperatures and High Pressures in the Petroleum Industry
- Measuring the Influence of Antioxidant Additives on Oxidation Stability in Spark-Ignition Fuels
- Mass flow determination powered by highly accurate density measurement
More than 2000 visitors to PEFTEC 2015, well-attended seminars and many interested visitors at Anton Paar’s booth are reasons enough to take part PEFTEC again in 2016.More about the 140 Solutions
