Exactly 50 years ago Anton Paar launched the first Density Measuring Apparatus (DMA) and the foundations for a great success story were laid.
The introduction of the first-ever digital density meter, DMA 02 C, at the Achema exhibition in Frankfurt in 1967 caused a sensation. For the first time it was possible to measure the density of a sample digitally – and that with a precision of 10-6 g/cm3.
A lot has happened since then.
We are celebrating 50 years of density measurement
with a special focus on density-related topics on this blog.
